mancano solo alcuni giorni per la presentazione del lavoro dell'artista Giancarlo Lamonaca nell'ambito di "Open City Museum". Stiamo facendo del ns. meglio per accoglierVi nella cittadina di Chiusa con la proposta d'arte pubblica "Anderswo_Altrove".
Sarò davvero felici di vederVi questo venerdì 21 settembre all'inaugurazione presso il Museo Civico di Chiusa, alle ore 18.

Within the framework of the intercultural art project Open City Museum.
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the City Museum of Klausen/Chiusa:
“20 years and 100 exhibitions”

Tue-Sat, 9:30 – 12:00 am, 3:30 – 6:00 pm
closed on Sundays, Mondays and 1st November

ACTIVITIES
The artwork is not meant to be a finished work, it rather develops through its interaction with the space and viewer. By doing so, the artworks become part of the social setting of the citizens. Centre of the exhibition is the site of the City Museum, a former Capuchin monastery. A city map in both printed and digital version facilitates guidance and location of the artworks.
A guided tour of the exhibition will take place during the “Long Night of Museums” on Saturday 22nd September at 5:30 pm with curator Martha Jiménez Rosano and artist Giancarlo Lamonaca. The walking tour will lead to the artist’s artworks both in the city and at the museum starting from the City Museum of Klausen/Chiusa.
During the “Day of Contemporary Art” by AMACI - Association of Italian Museums of Contemporary Art - on Saturday 6th October at 5:30 pm a guided tour to the exhibition will take place with the curator and the artist.
Young South Tyroleans and new citizens will go along with the public through the tour conceived by the artist: they will offer guided tours to the exhibition and to the city highlights in several languages such as Italian, German, Albanian, Spanish and Urdu/Punjabi with the aim of making contemporary art altogether with the city landmarks accessible to the wider public.

Evening Talk
Everyone is welcome to join the evening talk - a collaboration with Ecolnet - Ecology of Work association from Bolzano/Bozen. Several professionals from the art world will share their ideas on the topic “Participatory art and sustainability: what possibilities in today’s art world?” on Thursday 18th October at 8:00 pm at Walthersaal, Oberstadt 61 in Klausen/Chiusa.
